Vsevolod Kovtun works in the genres of photography (author of 6 photo books), posters,
and collages. He co-founded the magazine MetaCollage, which unfortunately ceased to
exist due to the war. He is a member of the Cutout Lovers creative union, whose
members were scattered all over the world by the war.
Occasionally, he holds workshops and private lessons. For several years, he has been
running the “photo criticism” column in a professional magazine.
He has exhibited in Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and France. He has organized
several gallery and media projects. He has experience serving on organizing
committees and juries of photo contests. He also compiles several art albums of other
authors. He has been the subject of articles in newspapers and magazines and has
appeared in the Ukrainian and Belgian press as an author of articles about art, as well as
interviews with colleagues. Throughout the years of the existence of a Ukrainian
professional glossy magazine about photography, he was its permanent author, and for
some time – its editor (department “Mastery”).
