Emma Tumanyan

I was born in 1993 in Yerevan, the capital of
Armenia, and I still live here. I graduated
from Kojoyan painting school. I had two
individual exhibitions at the house of the
Union of Artists of Armenia in 2015 and 2017. I
also participated in a number of online
international exhibitions and received
certificates. I work in expressionism style. I paint with oil
on canvas, and I also have many works with
gouache on cardboard and paper. My works
are inspired by the life events around me and
people’s emotions and state of mind. My
favorite Armenian artists are Martiros Saryan,
Minas Avetisyan, and among the foreign
artists are Pablo Picasso, Goya, Frida.
