Andrey Bludov’s paintings are filled with the author’s signature ultramarine and a structural technique of depicting objects that is relatively new for the author. In his work, the urban landscape of the city shows us its inner cytoskeleton – invisible channels of energy and information transmitted through time and space. The city is viewed as a living organism, as not only an ecosystem but also a socio-system in which we all are generators, transmitters and mediators of information fields of various directions and essence. This system is illusory, but at the same time visually filled with familiar forms and constructs.

Andriiy Bludov is also a professоr of art in the National Academy of Arts and Architecture. Lives and works in Ukraine, Kyiv.
